Day 2: Favorite Movie

This challenge is tough for me, I have so many favorites of everything. Okay okay okay. Favorite movie.....I narrowed it down to four. And those were just what has come to my mind. After beginning this post I've now just decided to do the first two, that's what being a mom does to you!
#1 (in no particular order of course) ..... is National Treasure.
This movie is unrealistic and completely unplausible but I love it and let me tell you why. I saw this movie on my second date with my husband. I had experienced something truly traumatic the previous day and he just made it better. There was something about him even from the beginning. It was like our souls clicked. My heart and mind didn't entirely recognize it at the time but looking back, it really was special.
We got to the theatre late and had to sit in the very front row. I love history and this movie is full of it. I'm not even a big Nicholas Cage fan or anything but this movie is just so adventurous and exciting

Okay Movie #2: The Royal Tenenbaums. This one is also Jeremy related. When I was pregnant with Vincent I would spend entire days with Jeremy at his apartment. All that we did was watch those ridiculous court shows and watch movies. We watched this movie. It is so indie and just so us at the time. A lot of people don't like it, but I absolutely love it. That's all.

Day 1

I am attempting this 30 day challenge. No no no, scratch that. I am going to DO this 30 day challenge. Day 1 is favorite song. Songs mean a lot to me. I am usually an angry and sad music listener if that makes sense.

So my very favoritest song right now has to be Lemons by Amos the Transparent. This is a pretty unknown band. My husband discovered them on satellite radio and we became fans. This song he always associated with baby Julian who at the time was quite the baby still. We included it on his one year slideshow video.

There is a line that is my absolute fave. It says "protect those you love and listen to their words. no one's gonna let you get hurt, pretty bird".

The last part of why I love this song is whenever it comes on in the car Julian goes crazy. He smiles and shakes his fists and kicks his feet.

Listen to it. Become a fan. They are amazing.
